Recipe:
My love for coffee is reflected in many of my projects on my blog. Once in a while, I create a tea project to share. I gave this little tea cup to my friend who is a teacher. It makes a great teacher appreciation gift or just a nice holiday surprise. Here are a couple of tips for making this. Be sure to use double-sided card stock, not paper because it needs to stand up with tea bags or treats inside. The sandwich is a cutting plate, Bigz die face up, paper, then another cutting plate or crease pad. I curled the handle with a pencil. I think I should have used a bone folder instead to loosen the fibers. I attached the bottom with hot glue which seemed to work well. Before the glue dries, add something to the cup (like a golf ball) to hold it in place while it dries and to help it settle correctly. You can stamp a sentiment onto the tea bag piece and/or ink around the edges for dimension.
