Dragons, Knights and Castles cut out with the Brother Scan N' Cut
Ingredients:

Stampin’ Up Myths & Magic designer series paper
Brother Scan N’ Cut
Brother Scan N’ Cut mat
Stylus, Spatula, Masking Tape

Recipe:

In this video demonstration, I walk you through the steps I used to cut out dragons, knights, castles and trees from the new Myths & Magic designer series paper by Stampin’ Up.I added an outline of 0.4” around each image. I used a blade depth of 5.5 and cut the glitter paper with ease. I think a blade depth of 5 would have worked too. I used a fairly new mat and yet, I had to use a spatula for securing the paper and some masking tape while it was cutting as the paper started to slip. As we waited for the cutting process, I showed all of the papers in the package and opened up the dies as well. I tried to see if the little knight die would cut out the night on the dsp but it didn’t. It is meant for the knight stamp from the Magical Day stamp set. After the cutting process was over, I provided a tip for easily removing the images from the mat. The demonstrated techniques can be used to cut patterns out of any of your papers, keeping in mind that the images need to have a solid line around them. The coordinating colors are: Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst, Dapper Denim, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Pool Party, Powder Pink, Tangerine Tango, Tranquil Tide, and Whisper White. Products demonstrated here will be available on January 1st and are featured in the 2018 Occasions catalog by Stampin’ Up.
