German Beer Card

Ingredients:

Stampin’ Up Mixed Drinks stamp set
Stampin’ Up Tabs for Everything stamp set
Kurz gefasst – German Tabs for Everything stamp set
So Saffron ink
Basic Black ink
So Saffron card stock
Black card stock
Whisper White card stock
Cherry Cobbler card stock
Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper
Circle Tab Punch
¾” Circle Punch
Brother Scan N’ Cut
Snail, or other Rolling Adhesive
Dimensionals or Foam Adhesives
Wink of Stella
Glitter Glue

Recipe:

This is a fun, whimsical card with a bunch of random German phrases. Inside, it says Cheers. Cut and score the card base using So Saffron card stock. The card base is 5.5” by 4.25”. Use rolling adhesive to adhere a 5.25” by 4” mat of paper from Pick a Pattern designer series paper (dsp). Cut a piece of black card stock 4.5” by 4” and a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock 3” by 2.5.” Use the corner rounder on the Cherry Cobbler piece. Punch out several shapes using the Circle Tab punch. Stamp the sentiments in Basic Black from the Kurz gefasst (Tabs for Everything) set. Some can be stamped right onto the tabs. Others can be stamped onto Whisper White and then punched out with the ¾” circle punch. Adhere the circles to the tabs using foam adhesives. Adhere the tabs to the card using rolling adhesive. Stamp the beer mug in Basic Black onto Whisper White card stock using the Mixed Drinks stamp set. Cut out the mug using the Brother Scan N’ Cut. Cut an extra piece of beer foam for added dimension. Don’t use an outline option. Just cut along the black lines. Stamp the beer in So Saffron. Note: All I had was an old Craft/Pigment style ink pad so I added clear embossing powder to the ink and heat embossed it. I added Wink of Stella to the top of the beer mug and an additional white piece using foam adhesives. I added clear embossing powder and when that wasn’t shiny enough for me, I added glitter glue. Also, be sure to adhere the “thumbs up” the right way. I had already stamped and adhered it when I discovered it looked more like a hitch-hiker.
