Graduation Decor

Recipe:

This post is mainly for sharing ideas for graduation décor and party favors.  The specific instructions for each project will not be included. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. The centerpiece consists of 3 pinwheels, all created using the Pinwheel Punch Board. It’s best to use double-sided papers when making the pinwheels as both sides will show. In this case, I had gold embossed cardstock that I was using for most of the project and needed to stick with that for consistency. I combined that with other coordinated cardstock. The stars were cut twice and mounted onto black straws. I used skewers to vary the height. The favor boxes were cut from the square favor box die. Because of the score lines, a crease pad is recommended. The stars were cut from the stars die and adhered to straws with foam adhesives. Cut out extras to hide the foam adhesives in the back. The numbers for 2017 were cut using the Cricut. I welded the background together to make one shape. This is easier to attach to the skewer. I cut the banner out of shapes and letters using the Cricut. The banner pieces are 5” tall and the letters are 3” tall. The Hershey Nuggets were already gold so all that was needed to embellish them was a sticker on each. I purchased those stickers last year on clearance at Michael’s. They were the perfect size for nugget treats.
