Recipe:

These cups were very popular at craft fairs this year. I also gave these out to co-workers who were asked to pick out their stocking stuffers. Many selected these or my lip balm holders (tutorial to come). I filled these with bags of candy and candy canes. I made the packs of snowman soup separately but I thought that it would be a perfect item to add to the inside of the cups and so I’m posting both sets of instructions together.

Snowman Cups:

Using the Cricut Design Space program, slice the parts of the snowman images you would like to use so that you are not cutting out extra pieces. Adhere the pieces to the cups using tacky glue. Another option is to use adhesive sheets on the back of the card stock before cutting it. This will turn all of the pieces into stickers. Use holly stickers or embellishments for the hats. They came from several sources including stickers from Recollections and K& Company, Holly from a retired Paper Pumpkin kit called Mistletoe & Holly, and die cuts from a wreath (Layered Holiday Wreath – link below). The stickers wouldn’t stay on well so I recommend hot glue but not too hot as to melt the plastic on the hat. The Have a Happy Holiday sentiment is from the Glamper Greetings stamp set.

Snowman Soup:

I added the following items to each bag. Two Hersey Kisses, One Candy Cane, One Paper Straw, One Packet of Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows. My tip for you is to buy a 30 pack of Hot Cocoa from Walmart. The reason is that when you purchase a smaller pack of 10, they come perforated. It takes extra time to cut them apart and I even ripped one open. When you buy the 30 pack, they come in individual packets and therefore, the edges are cleaner. I used Avery labels (30 per page). I added the text below. Then, I inserted a little clipart of a snowman onto the label and copied and pasted it to the other cells. I made several sheets of labels because I created these easy gifts for coworkers and for my Christmas care packages. I would usually print the labels in color but didn’t have any color ink at the time so this method did the trick. I was giving out treats all week at work. I allowed my coworkers to choose between an M&M treat or Snowman Soup. I also gave out Hot Cocoa Pockets which were also a popular Craft Fair item this year.
