Recipe:

I created these treats for swapping with others.  For the base, use a 2” by 4” piece of DSP. Score at 1.5” and 2.5”. Punch both ends with the Tag Topper punch. Attach a Mini Mentos with a dimensional. Cut a 6” piece of twine. Loop it through the ends to fasten. Cut out a balloon background on Whisper White card stock. Using sponge daubers or make-up sponges, color the background. For efficiency, color all of one color, let it dry and then start on the next color. This will keep the colors from blending too much unless you are going for that effect. Die cut the intricate hot air balloon using the Big Shot. Note: For this project, Stick It was used on the card stock before it was cut out. Its double-sided adhesive. One the balloon is cut, peel off the backing and stick the balloon onto the background. Rub it to fasten it tightly. Use one dimensional to attach the balloon onto the front of the treat, hiding the twine. Stamp a sentiment onto a small banner using Night of Navy ink. Cut several dimensionals in half to use for attaching the sentiments. You can ink around the edges of the sentiments for an added effect.
