This Video Series features the Giving Gifts Dies, Time of Giving Stamp Set, and Tailor Made Tags by Stampin’ Up! In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a Santa Treat Box using the Gift Giving Dies by Stampin’ Up! Each box holds three Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares. Use Real Red Cardstock to create the box. You can use Thick Basic White Cardstock for the bottom of the box. Cut the cardstock 5 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ for the top of the box and then cut a smidgen (1/16″) off of all sides of the bottom of the box. Score the cardstock at 7/8″ on all sides. Do this for the top and the bottom of the box. I shared how to create the slits and miter the edges. Cut the Window Sheet 3 1/2″ x 2″ and adhere it to the inner lid using Tear & Tape Adhesive and a couple of glue dots. Use liquid adhesive or Seal+ to secure the flaps.
At the end of this tutorial, I shared other examples of other projects created using the Gift Giving Dies and/or the Tailor Made Tag Dies. I hope you enjoy making these treat boxes. They make great gifts or stocking stuffers. You can apply what you learn to making other boxes with your craft supplies. I embellished this Treat Box using ribbon from the Trimming the Town Ribbon Combo Pack. You can purchase a kit and have supplies to follow along with this series.
