Projects from the Birthday Memories Suite

Recipes:

Birthday Crate – Using two patterned papers from the Pretty Pedals dsp stack, cut out two wood crate shaped and assemble using rolling adhesive. Stamp the sentiment in black and punch out with the Decorative Label punch. Cut out the back of the sign using the same paper as the crate. Then, glue the paper straw to the sign. Use foam adhesives to adhere the front and the back of the sign together. Use the bear from the bottom of the dsp because it is already cut in half and it too cute to be wasted. Embellish one of the balloons with a honeycomb embellishment. Note: In this example, the bear and balloons were cut out using the Brother Scan N’ Cut.

Birthday Box – The box is 2” all around. Cut the dsp in 1.75“ squares, making a notch in the front one. Embellish with coordinating designs from the dsp. Use the thinlit to cut out the little flag.

Note: When I recorded the video yesterday, there were still tiny treat boxes available in the clearance section and today they are gone! Sorry about that.

Poodle Card – Use Soft Sky card stock and the Movers & Shapers Curly Label Bigz die to make two cards out of one 8.5” by 11” piece. Save the insides for future projects. The window will be cut out and stitched for you. Stamp the sentiment from the Birthday Delivery stamp set. Glue one poodle to the inside facing down and another on the outside facing up. Embellish with a party hat and balloons.

Chef – Stamp the little chef in basic black and then cut out with the coordinating thinlit. Color his pants and scarf with the Pacific Point water color pencil and then use the aqua painter to blend the color around. Color his hair in Crumb Cake. Attach him to the chalk board with glue dots.

Little Girl – Use the small frame from the Project Life Cards & Labels die set to cut out the girl. Then, use the Martha Stewart corner rounder or other corner rounder of your choice to cut off any cupcakes which are still showing. This little picture can be framed again and/or used as a card embellishment.
