In this post, I’m sharing how to create Hershey Nugget Treats which are decorated with products from the Nature’s Poem suite. To create a tray to hold the 5 nuggets, cut the cardstock 5” by 2.25” and then score at 3/8″ on each side. To wrap each nugget, cut each piece of the Nature’s Poem designer series paper 3.25” by 1”. Use rolling adhesive for adhering the paper. Don’t use liquid glue as it could seep into the candy which is only lightly foiled. Place 5 nuggets horizontally into each tray, alternating patterns. Use one line of rolling adhesive to help hold the Nuggets in place. Note: If you are selling these at craft fairs, be sure to inform customers that the Nuggets contain nuts.
Cut each topper from the Nature’s Poem designer series paper. The topper is 5” by 2” and scored at 2.5”. Adhere the sentiments to the toppers using foam adhesives. Stamp the sentiments from the Rooted in Nature stamp set. Stamp onto the Nature’s Poem dsp and wood slices. When stamping onto wood, be sure to hold the stamp in place for a few seconds so that the wood can absorb the ink.
Attach the sentiments using rolling adhesives or dimensionals. Embellish each topper with Nature’s Roots framelits dies, Leaves Trinkets, and leaves cut out from the Nature’s Poem designer series paper. Adhere the stamped embellishments using glue or Stampin’ Up dimensionals.
In this video, I share 8 projects I created using the Nature’s Poem Suite by Stampin’ Up. The paper crafts include cards, candy treats, bookmarks, and a test tube holder. The 3D projects make great gifts and craft fair items. Links to specific projects will be linked below as I write the instructions. To order your supplies, please visit my store using the links below.
