Tea-Rific Tea Pots

Ingredients:

Stampin’ Up Curvy Keepsake Die
Stampin’ Up Moroccan Designer Series Paper
Stampin’ Up Dapper Denim ink
Stampin’ Up Black Ink
Stampin’ Up Crushed Curry Ink
Stampin’ Up Blender Pen
Sponge Dauber
Stampin’ Up Whisper White card stock
Stampin’ Up Morning Cup Stamp Set (retired)
Cricut electronic die cutting machine
Ashlyn’s Alphabet cartridge (any teapot image will do)
Stampin’ Up dimensionals or foam adhesives
Glue Dots
Scotch Advanced Tape Glider, Snail, or other Rolling Adhesive
Treats and a Tea Bag

Recipe:

Using the Big Shot, cut out two pieces with the Curvy Keepsake die. You need to make sure that the paper is facing the same way when you cut each shape. That way, the two pieces stay together properly. Adhere them together with rolling adhesive. In the Cricut Design Space program, import a tea pot image. The one used in this example is from the Ashlyn’s Alphabet cartridge but you can use any tea pot image. First, you slice the handle off the pot. Then, you weld a little flap to it so that you have a little extra flap to bend and glue onto the teapot. You can also trace and fuzzy cut a spout. The handle of the pot is just a rectangle which is 3.5” by 0.3” You can vary its size. You just need extra flaps to bend and glue onto the pot. The Tea-Riffic and Tea Bag sentiments are from the Morning Cup stamp set. The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White using Black or Dapper Denim. The tea bag was colored with a blender pen using Cajun Craze.  Ink the edges of the sentiment with Crushed Curry. The sentiment was attached to the teapot using a foam adhesive. Attach a tea bag to the bottom of each tea pot using glue dots (optional).
