Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop

For this month’s Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop, I wanted to share my favorite suite from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog Pre-Order. It is the Tranquil Textures suite. In this post, I’m sharing how to create Hershey Nugget Treats which are decorated with products from the Tranquil Textures suite.

To create a tray to hold the 5 nuggets, cut the Mint Macaron cardstock 5” by 2.25” and then score at 3/8″ on each side. To wrap each nugget, cut each piece of the Tranquil Textures designer series paper 3.25” by 1”. Use rolling adhesive for adhering the paper. Don’t use liquid glue as it could seep into the candy which is only lightly foiled. Place 5 nuggets horizontally into each tray, alternating patterns. Use one line of rolling adhesive to help hold the Nuggets in place.

Stamp the sentiments from the Sea of Textures stamp set onto Whisper White or Shimmery White card stock using Fresh Fig or Tranquil Tide ink. Punch out the sentiments using the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. Stamp the octopuses in Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig, and Mint Macaron from the Sea of Textures stamp set. Stamp the coral in Fresh Fig. Use the Under the Sea framelits to cut out each octopus and the coral.

Cut each topper from the Tranquil Textures designer series paper. The topper is 5” by 2” and scored at 2.5”.  Adhere the sentiments to the toppers using foam adhesives. Note: If you are selling these at craft fairs, be sure to inform customers that the Nuggets contain nuts.

I hope you enjoyed this crafty project. Now it’s time to hop on over to see what my other Crafty Friends have in store for you. This month’s topic is all about new Stampin’ Up catalog items so don’t miss out.

Where do you get your nuggets? I used to be able to get them at the local grocery store, but they don’t carry them anymore.

What do you think?
