Ink It Up! Baby Wipe Technique – Create Card Backgrounds – Snowflake Wishes by Stampin’ Up!

In this video, I share how to create card backgrounds using the Baby Wipe Technique. This tutorial features the Snowflake Wishes stamp set by Stampin’ Up! I share how to use the baby wipes as a stamp pad. First, create lines of ink on the baby wipe using the reinkers. The seven colors that I used are: Highland Heather, Just Jade, Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Emerald Envy, Misti Moonlight and Coastal Cabana. Keep the bottles in order until you are finished with this project because you may need to re-ink your baby wipes. Next, stamp the Basic White cardstock, starting with the largest snowflake. Each time, tilt the snowflake and stamp onto another section of your stamp pad to pick up different colors. If you use a C Stamping Block, you will be able to stamp all of the snowflakes used to create this paper using Snowflake Wishes. When you are finished, let the paper dry and then cut pieces of 5 1/4″ x 4″ to use as backgrounds for A2 cards. I hope you will give this technique a try. Use the Snowflake Wishes stamp set or any other stamps in your stash. A list of supplies is below.
