Recipe:
Yesterday, I had to create some birthday packaging in a hurry and my Big Shot Pro once again came to my rescue. I used my 3 favorite dies which are ones I use all of the time. I took out a pack of birthday card stock by DCWV and in minutes, I made all of these items. I used a scalloped circle and tag punch for making coordinating tags.
The process for cutting with all of the dies is the same. They are quick and easy to make with the Big Shot Pro. First, select cardstock which will be strong enough to hold its shape when folded into a box. Then, run it through the Big Shot Pro using the selected die. The sandwich is the tray, base plate, die, paper face up, crease pad. Then, fold along the score lines and adhere it together. Use hot glue or rolling adhesive to adhere the sides and handle of the pillow purse. Use Velcro for closing the purse. Use rolling adhesive for the candy box die and then add candy or treats and close the ends with twine. The dress box die doesn’t need any adhesive. Add treats, fold it together and then tie ribbon or twine around it.
