In this video, you will learn how to use a web site called Template Maker for creating Gift Boxes with your Brother ScanNCut. There are so many different types of boxes you can create for FREE on the Template Maker site. I love how easy and customization that it is. I thank Helen, my viewer and subscriber for sharing this site with me so that I could share it with my Crafty Friends. You will how to create and customize a Gift Box using the Template Maker web site. Then, you will download the SVG file which you can directly transfer to your ScanNCut machine or import it into Canvas Workspace where you can edit it further. In this example, I shared how to turn the cutting line into a solid black line and how to change the style of the score lines. I also shared how to group and align the Gift Box template and then how to duplicate it so that you can cut 4 of these Gift Boxes on the same mat. After transferring the file wirelessly to your Brother Scan and Cut, you can move, resize or duplicate it as needed. Then, you can cut the boxes out and assemble them. Add treats and embellish the boxes with twine or ribbon. At the end of the video, I demonstrated other boxes you can create using the Template Maker web site, Canvas Workspace and your Brother ScanNCut.
