Butterfly Brilliance Bootcamp – Techniques Course – Parts 7 & 8

This video series features the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle by Stampin’ Up! During Part 7, you learned how to use decorate an embroidery hoop using Butterfly Bijou designer series paper and butterflies die cut using the Brilliant Wings dies. You learned how to attach the designer series paper for this unique home décor project.

During Part 8, I shared a technique commonly called Tone-on-Tone stamping. It is another fun way to use your Butterfly Brilliance background stamp. The Stamparatus was used for stamping the card backgrounds. I shared examples of Misty Moonlight ink on Misty Moonlight cardstock and Poppy Parade ink on Poppy Parade cardstock. I also shared examples of background stamping using Misty Moonlight on various coordinating colors of cardstock. The next technique used on these cards is the Ripped Paper technique. For this, you rip the Butterfly Bijou designer series paper to expose the white inner core. Then, add Wink of Stella to the layers before adding them to the card. The Flowers of Friendship stamp set was used for the “Thank You for Everything” sentiment. The sentiment was punched out using the Double-Oval punch. Thank you for watching. I hope you will follow along and create similar projects using the techniques that you learn in this series. Purchase the Butterfly Brilliance Bootcamp Kit (Optional) so that you can follow along and create the projects.
