Welcome to Part 2 of my 7-Part Series: Working with Card Kits. In this series, we will go through all of the card kits Stampin’ Up! currently has to offer. In this video, I unbox the For the Love of Felt Project Kit. I share how to create a card using the suggested instructions, demonstrate how to create a Ghirardelli or tea bag holder, and I share many alternative ideas to use with your For the Love of Felt Project Kit. After the introduction, I created cards and 3D items using the contents of the kit and several other coordinating products by Stampin’ Up! It took me about 6 hours and 15 minutes to create 30 projects using the embellishments and cards from the kit, coordinating For the Love of Felt stamp set and other Stampin’ Up! products. I shared the full-sized (A2 cards), tags or bookmarks, tag treats, treat holders, and boxes I created with this kit. I even stamped a mini pizza box using the coordinating colors. I hope these projects inspire you and help generate ideas on how to expand your kits.
To create the matchbook Ghirardelli or tea bag holder, cut a piece of card stock 7.25″ by 2.75″ and then turn horizontally. Using the Simply Scored, score it at 0.75″, 4 1/8″, and 4 3/8″ and then fold along the score lines. Staple the bottom flap of the match book, leaving enough room for the tea bag or chocolate. Attach the tea bag or chocolate to the inside of the holder using a glue dot or dimensional. Decorate the inside and outside with sentiments and/or embellishments.
