Christmas Cheer Card & Bookmark

Ingredients:

Stampin’ Up Merry Café stamp set
Stampin’ Up Christmas Around the World designer series paper
Soft Sky Card Stock
Crumb Cake Card Stock
Black Card Stock
Basic Black Ink
Duet Banner Punch
Scalloped Tag Topper Punch
Project Life Corner Rounder Punch
Crumb Cake 3/8″ Classic Weave Ribbon
Brother Scan N’ Cut
Rolling Adhesive
Dimensionals or Foam Adhesives
Glue Dots

Recipe:

The Crumb Cake card base is 5.5” by 4.25”. Cut a mat of Soft Sky or Black card stock 5.25” by 4” and attach it to the card base using rolling adhesive. Cut a mat using Christmas Around the World dsp 5” by 3.75”. Offset the mat so that it aligns to the upper left and attach it with rolling adhesive.  Stamp the sentiments using the Merry Café stamp set. Stamp the Christmas Cheer in Basic Black onto a 2” piece of Crumb Cake card stock. The length will vary, depending on how you embellish it. Curve “and a Happy New Year” sentiment and then stamp it in Basic Black onto Christmas Around the World dsp. Punch out the sentiment using the Duet Banner punch and attach it with foam adhesives. Cut out the wreaths and other shapes using the Brother Scan N’ Cut. Use a blade depth of 4 and a border around the images. Attach the wreaths using foam adhesives and other shapes to the inside of the card using glue dots. Adhere the embellished piece of card stock to the left side of the card using rolling adhesives. The bookmark was made in a similar way. It was embossed and inked lightly. Punch a 2” wide piece of Soft Sky card stock using the Tag Topper punch. Use a corner rounder punch on the bottom edges. Stamp and embellish a smaller piece of Crumb Cake card stock. Add a 6” to 8” piece of Crumb Cake ribbon to the top of your bookmark.
