Ink It Up! – Creating Backgrounds with the Camouflage Stamp and the Stamparatus by Stampin’ Up!

In this Ink It Up! tutorial, you will learn how to create a card background using the Camouflage stamp. You will learn how to mount the stamp onto the Stamparatus stamp positioning tool, how to ink it up, stamp it and then sponge color over it. For this demonstration, I used Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. I stamped the colors onto Whisper White cardstock. I shared how to use the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers to color a donkey from the Darling Donkeys stamp set. I used stamped sentiments from the Darling Donkeys and Zany Zebras stamp set onto several shapes I previously die cut. I shared how the card was assembled with a Crumb Cake background and Mossy Meadow layer. I also shared examples of bookmarks or tags I created using the background stamping technique. I decorated one with a Darling Donkey theme and the other using the Loyal & True stamp set.
