Creating Card Bases – A2 Card Tutorial – Back to Basics – Stampin’ Up! Trimmer & Simply Scored

In this tutorial, I share how I create A2 Card Bases for making cards. I cut the Stampin’ Up! cardstock with my paper trimmer. Then, I cut the cards one of two ways. The final result after cutting the 8 1/2″ by 11″ sheet of cardstock is an A2 or standard size card. The final card is 5 1/2″ by 4 1/4″ and can be opened from the bottom or side. There are many variations and card folds which will lead to the same card size including a gate fold, easel card, and Z-fold. The A2 cards will fit into our Medium Envelopes or Clear Cellophane Envelopes available at my Stampin’ Up! store.
