This Video Series features the Give it a Whirl Dies by Stampin’ Up! In this tutorial, you will learn how to create Halloween cards featuring the Give it a Whirl Dies. These fun, interactive cards spin with sentiments from the Halloween Cuties stamp set. First, we cut out two wheels to stamp onto using Thick Basic White cardstock by Stampin’ Up!. Then, I shared how to stamp the “Trick or Treat”, “Hey, Boo” and “You put a Smile on my Face” sentiments using Memento Black ink. The spider, jack-o-lantern faces, and candy corns were stamped using Pumpkin Pie ink. After stamping, you learn how to cut out the cardstock and designer series paper using the Give it a Whirl Dies. I share the result of cutting out each of the dies and then share the mechanics of how the interactive cards work. You learn how to use a brad, Adhesive Strips and Stampin’ Dimensionals to allow the wheel to spin freely. At the end of the tutorial, I shared several other projects created using the Cute Halloween Suite. You also got a sneak peek of the project we will be creating during Part 3 of this series.
