This Video Series features the Give it a Whirl Dies by Stampin’ Up! In this tutorial, you will learn how to create and embellish an interactive card which changes color as you spin it. The same pattern appears in the window as you spin it. You can use two or more colors for this effect. You will learn how to use the Stamparatus with the Candy Canes background stamp. Stamp the same image in exactly the same spot on Basic White Cardstock. Then, die cut them together so that the candy canes are perfectly aligned. Just Jade and Poppy Parade are the two primary colors used for this tutorial. After the backgrounds and windows are cut out, embellish the card using a cute critter from the Penguin Playmates designer series paper. You can add a Wobble Spring to make the Polar Bear or Penguin Move. This makes the card even more fun. Stamp the sentiment from the Penguin Place stamp set. At the end of this tutorial, I shared other examples of cards created using the Give it a Whirl dies. I hope you enjoy making these interactive cards.
