In this Ink It Up! tutorial, you will learn how to color a Box of Sunshine. We use the stencil from the Here’s to You Paper Pumpkin Kit – March, 2021, the Ridiculously Awesome stamp set, and the Love You Always Treat Boxes. I shared how to sponge color the base layer of Daffodil Delight and the Sun Stencil layer of Mango Melody. I used Sponge Brayers for even coloring. I masked off the sides of the box while just coloring the top. After stenciling the sun, I used Memento Black ink for the sentiment “You are my Sunshine” from the Ridiculously Awesome stamp set. Then, I stamped the “P.S. I Love You” sentiment and stars on one side of the box. The other side of the box says “Sending Sunshine” which is a sentiment from the Box of Sunshine Paper Pumpkin Kit – June 2020. A list of supplies is below.
