Brother ScanNCut Tips & Tricks – Cutting Embossed Snowflakes – Snowflake Wishes by Stampin’ Up!

In this Brother ScanNCut Tips & Tricks Tutorial, you will learn how to cut out embossed snowflakes using the Brother Scan and Cut CM350 or ScanNCut 2. First, you will learn how to heat emboss the snowflakes using Versamark Ink and White Embossing Powder. We used the Embossing Buddy on the Night of Navy cardstock to help keep the extra powder from sticking in the wrong spots. After embossing and and heating the snowflakes, we cut them out using the Brother Scan and Cut. First, we attached the cardstock to the mat. Then, we scanned it in and used Direct Cut and Black and White Recognition mode to cut out the snowflakes. Use a Blade Depth of 5 when using the ScanNCut 2 or CM350 with Stampin’ Up! cardstock. At the end of the video, I shared several projects I created using the embossed snowflake embellishments. Those include a Mini Curvy Keepsake Box, a Little Treat Box, a Diaper Fold Treat Holder and a Full-Sized Card featuring the Snowflake Wishes stamp set.
