In this Brother ScanNCut Tutorial, I share an alternative project you can create using the Box of Sunshine Pumpkin Kit – June 2020. You will learn how to decorate a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box. First, we use the built in patterns to cut the shapes needed to cover the box. You learn how to save and retrieve your template. Then, we stamp the sun from the Box of Sunshine kit in Memento Black ink. You learn the pencil trick for making sure that the sun is recognizable by the ScanNCut. It needs to be one complete image. We cut out the sun with an outline distance and a larger sun for the background with a larger outline distance. The settings and supplies for this project are listed below. I hope you will create a template that you can save and re-use over and over to decorate the new Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes by Stampin’ Up!

I’ve looked through your youtube videos and couldn’t find what I was looking for. Can you use the scan n cut for journaling? I would love to be able to use the pen tool to write. Thanks
Andrea,
Yes, you can use it for journaling and I have several tutorials on using the Universal Pen Tool. Here is a recent one. I suggest designing in Canvas Workspace so that you can use your own fonts which are installed on your computer. Here is a tutorial – https://youtu.be/MtgM3Gn-InI

Kim, did you do a tutorial on the mini StampinUp boxes? I thought I saw one but can’t find it again. Please direct me to that tutorial. Thank you.
Diane, I was just revisiting this tutorial and saw your question. I have several tutorials on cutting out the Stampin’ Up! Mini Pizza Boxes. Here is a link to one. https://youtu.be/q64PRAHHt7M
