Welcome to Part 1 of my 3 part series on creating Doggie Treats. In this tutorial, I share how to create a stamping mask using the Brother ScanNCut. This technique allows you to sponge color stamped images evenly while protecting the background. You can use it to create a stencil out of Mylar material or a reusable mask which will help you increase your productivity. I share how to sponge color the dogs from the Happy Tails stamp set by Stampin’ Up! I used Crumb Cake ink for sponge coloring. I also shared how to color using the Stampin’ Blends. Stay tuned for Part 2 of this series where I show how to cut out Santa hats for the dogs and how to create the circles for the doggie treats. We will use the ScanNCut for both of those tasks.
