Decorating Dollar Tree Journals using the Brother ScanNCut – Magnolia Lane dsp by Stampin’ Up!

In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to decorate mini composition journals from the Dollar Tree. I used the Brother ScanNCut SDX125 to cut out the rectangles and prior to the tutorial, to cut out the patterned paper as well. I used the Magnolia Lane dsp. You can fit 3 journal covers onto one piece of dsp.  The dimensions are 6.68″ x 4.5″ for each rectangle. Use the Auto Layout to make all three rectangles fit on the page. Then, use the Decorative Trio Punch for rounding the corners. I used the Floral Essence stamp set and stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow. I stamped onto a card from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack. Then, I punched out the sentiment using the Timeless Label Punch.

  1. Phyllis, you are very welcome. I totally meant to do this with Christmas papers this year and didn’t. I’m glad you are making stocking stuffers and carrying out what you learn.
