Cut and score each of the card bases using one of the following colors of card stock: Tranquil Tide, Soft Suede, Grapefruit Grove, or Mint Macaron. The card base is 5.5” by 4.25”. Prior to folding the card, use the Use Fast Fuse to adhere a 5.25” by 4” mat of Nature’s Poem designer series paper, or card stock behind the front panel so that it shows through the tree. One tip is to add the adhesive to the inside front panel of the card around the tree. That way, adhesive doesn’t show through. Then, use Fast Fuse to adhere the panel to the inside of the card.
Stamp each sentiment using Tranquil Tide onto a 2″ by 3″ piece of Whisper White card stock. Stamp the leaves in Mint Macaron. Attach the sentiment using dimensionals. Embellish each card with trees cut out from the Nature’s Roots framelits dies, Leaves Trinkets, and leaves cut out from the Nature’s Poem designer series paper. Adhere the stamped embellishments using glue or Stampin’ Up dimensionals.
I created the this card at OnStage in Atlanta, Georgia. See the video below for lots of ideas on other projects you can create using the Nature’s Poem Suite by Stampin’ Up.
In this video, I share 8 projects I created using the Nature’s Poem Suite by Stampin’ Up. The paper crafts include cards, candy treats, bookmarks, and a test tube holder. The 3D projects make great gifts and craft fair items. Links to specific projects will be linked below as I write the instructions. To order your supplies, please visit my store using the links below.
