Brother ScanNCut Tutorial – Cutting Patterned Paper – Snowman Nugget Treats Part 1 – Let it Snow Suite

Welcome to Part 1 of my three-part Brother Scan and Cut series on creating Hershey Nugget Treats featuring the Let it Snow Suite. In this tutorial, you will learn how to cut out the patterned paper needed for this project using the CM350 or Scan and Cut 2. There are a few pieces of the Let it Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper which are well suited for this project. The smaller patterns including the small snowmen and the mittens work particularly well for wrapping the Hershey Nuggets and for the Treat Toppers. I share how to cut those out first and the specific dimensions and settings are listed below. After we cut out and saved the project, I demonstrated how to cut out the snowman hats and holly from another piece of dsp. We cut those out without an outline distance. An extra tip and trick you will learn in this section of the tutorial is how to get rid of unwanted items you don’t want to cut out. We delete the hats which were not fully selected by trashing them in the Editing Mode.

Settings for the ScanNCut 2 or CM350
Blade Depth = 3
Rectangles for Treat Toppers = 5″ height X 2.25″ width
Rectangles for Hershey Nugget Wrappers = 3.25″ height X 1″ width
