Brother ScanNCut Tips & Tricks – Cutting Patterned Paper – Magnolia Lane

In this Brother Scan and Cut tutorial, you will learn how to cut out patterned paper. The designer series paper is from the Magnolia Lane suite by Stampin’ Up! I’m using the CM350 or ScanNCut 2. I share tips and tricks such as how to ignore small objects, how to delete unwanted objects, how to add an outline distance, how to sharpen your blade and how to keep your paper from slipping off of the mat. I also shared 12 projects I created using the magnolias cut out from the designer series paper.   1. Really nice…you are so good with your videos. But I’ve told you that before. If people just realized the money they could save not buying dies, but seems they just don’t think about it. Brother needs better promotional on the national level because you can’t reach all the people that need to know about the pleasures and money saving advantages by buying a SNC and watching your videos.

    Question for you. Let’s say I want a border but in green and not white. All I can figure out is to cute the subject close to the line, then place it on green paper and re-cut. But how do I get the main focus to stick to the green paper since it can’t work on a mat alone.

    If I used that special scanning mat, it has a base of black and a dark green paper to use as the border for my subject won’t have enough color variation to scan as it should.

    Now, we made it through the great swallow verses sea gull debate, we an make it through this new challenge, right? lol
