Brother ScanNCut – Sweet Cards using the Universal Pen Holder & How Sweet It Is dsp

Brother ScanNCut - How Sweet It Is

Product List

Recipe:

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to make “Sweet” cards using the Brother Scan and Cut. The cards feature the How Sweet It Is designer series paper by Stampin’ Up! which is in our 2019 Occasions catalog. First, we cut out sentiments from the built in patterns using a Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Write Marker by Stampin’ Up! Then, we scanned and cut the sentiments with a 0.04″ outline distance. Without removing the mat, we switched papers and cut an outline distance of 0.12″ around the shape onto How Sweet It Is dsp. Then, we colored the insides of the sentiments using the Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Write Markes. Lastly, we cut out the mats for each card (4″ by 5.25″) and assembled the cards. We use pre-cut embellishments which were cut from patterned paper using the Brother ScanNCut. We attached those to the cards using dimensionals.

  3. Frenchiee, thanks for your comment. I’m glad you like this technique. It is even more flexible than stamping because you can resize the sentiment. If you can’t find the holder at a retail store, please use my link to get one from Amazon. Thanks!
