Welcome to Part 3 of my 7-Part Series: Working with Card Kits. In this series, we will go through all of the card kits Stampin’ Up! currently has to offer. In this video, I unbox the Looking Up Card Kit. I share how to create a card using the suggested instructions, demonstrate how to create a tag treat, and I share many alternative ideas to use with your Looking Up Card Kit. After the introduction, I created cards and 3D items using the contents of the kit and several other coordinating products by Stampin’ Up! I shared a total of 26 projects in this video including the two I created here and the 24 I created off camera. It took me about 4 hours and 30 minutes to create 24 projects using the embellishments and cards from the kit and coordinating Stampin’ Up! products. I shared the full-sized cards from the kit, alternate card projects, tags or bookmarks, tag treats, a Hershey Nuggets treat, a decorated mini pizza box and boxes created from the cards in the kit. I hope these projects inspire you and help generate ideas on how to expand your kits.
To create the tag treat, cut a piece of card stock 6.75″ by 2″ and then turn horizontally. Using the Simply Scored, score it at 3″and 3.75″ and then fold along the score lines. Punch the ends of the treat holder using the Delightful Tag Topper punch or the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Cut a piece of designer series paper from the envelope liner 6″ x 0.75″ and score it at 2″, 2.75″, 4.75″ and 5.5″ – adhere the 0.5″ flap with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
The tag treats holds two Hershey Nuggets. The wrappers for the Nuggets are 3.25″ x 1″ and were created with the envelope liners from the kit. Decorate the outside of the tag treat outside with sentiments and/or embellishments.
