Recipe:
Fill 1″ cellophane bags with candy M&Ms or Skittles. The tag toppers are made from various Disney themed papers. Cut a piece of paper 5″ by 1.75″ and score at 2.5 inches. Attach the toppers using rolling adhesive before decorating them with Micky & Friends. There is a new stamp set by Stampin’ Up which will be available in the Occasions Catalog on January 1st. I make a lot of Disney themed gifts so the first thing I thought of when I saw this set is how well it coordinates with my Disney projects. I stamped the “Hope your Day is Magical” sentiment in black ink and then punched out the sentiments with the Everyday Label Punch. I also cut some of the Magical sentiments out using the Magical Mates die. Then, I used part of the Everyday Label Punch to cut out the “Hope your day is” section. Adhere the sentiments to the treats using foam adhesives. Use the Brother Scan N’ Cut to cut out Mickey embellishments for the top of the treats (Cutting out Mickey Mouse with the Brother Scan N’ Cut). Attach the tag topper using rolling adhesive. Attach the embellishments using foam adhesives. These treats made great birthday party favors, stocking stuffers or treats for anyone who loves Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, or other Disney characters. Tip: M&Ms melt easily in the heat. If you are giving these out at a theme park, Skittles are recommended.
