In this tutorial, you will learn how to cut out patterned paper using your Brother Scan and Cut SDX125. The paper we are using for these examples is the Wrapped in Plaid specialty designer series paper by Stampin’ Up! It is part of the 2019 Holiday Catalog. To cut out the patterns, I scanned in the paper and then selected a specific area. I shared tips and tricks on ignoring object size to removing unwanted parts, adding an outline distance and how to created layers. I also compared Direct Cut to Scan to Cut Data so that you have a better understanding of when and how to use both. I shared several of my projects I created using the the Wrapped in Plaid designer series paper and the embellishments cut out from the ScanNCut.
