Recipe:
In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how to watercolor stamped images from the Cute Crew Punch Box by Stampin’ Up! The punch box is part of the 2019 Occasions Catalog and includes beautiful tin with 6 stamps, a Basic Archival Black Stampin’ Spot, 4 Watercolor Pencils, a Stamping Block, and a coordinating Punch. To watercolor these images, we mounted them onto a stamping block and used StazOn ink to stamp them onto Whisper White card stock. Then, we used the watercolor pencils and Aqua Painters to watercolor the stamped images. I demonstrated two techniques. One is just using the dry watercolor pencil to color in a certain area and then using the Aqua Painter to spread the color around evenly. Another technique is using the watercolor pencil directly onto the Aqua Painter which was dipped into water. This gives you enough color to paint with and creates even color on the stamped image. I shared several projects I created with the Cute Crew Punch Box including mini note cards, treat toppers, and tags. These are great for gift giving or to use on Craft Fair items.
