Perked Up Pig Cards

Ingredients:

Stampin’ Up This Little Piggy stamp set
Stampin’ Up Coffee Café stamp set
Stampin’ Up Coffee Break designer series paper
Stampin’ Up Coffee Cup framelits dies

Recipe:

Each card is 5.5” by 4.25” and was made with Powder Pin, Crumb Cake or Soft Sky card stock. All the little pigs were cut out using the Brother Scan N’ Cut (This Little Piggy Loves the Scan N’ Cut). The stamped images were cut out before they were colored and a 0.4” outline was added to them. A second set of little pigs was cut out of black card stock without an outline. These served as masks for coloring (Top 5 Reasons why Every Crafter needs a Brother Scan N’ Cut). This made the pigs very easy to color. Squeeze the top of the lid of the Power Pink ink. Open the ink and use a sponge to soak up that ink and then color with it. Once the pigs are evenly coated with pink, use the marker or blender pen to add more ink to the ears, snout, and hooves.  If you use a sponge dauber, you can add more ink to one area and blend it. Wink of Stella was used to color the wings of the flying pig. Cards were embellished using the Coffee Break dsp and linen thread.
