Brother ScanNCut Tutorial – Cutting Patterned Paper – Golden Honey dsp by Stampin’ Up!

In this tutorial, you will learn how to cut out patterned paper using your Brother Scan and Cut SDX125. The paper we are using for these examples is the Golden Honey specialty designer series paper by Stampin’ Up! It is a free item you can earn during Sale-A-Bration 2020. To cut out the patterns, I scanned in the paper and then selected a specific area. I shared tips and tricks on ignoring object size to removing smaller parts, and how to add an outline distance. I used Direct Cut, an Outline Distance of 0.04″, and Autoblade technology. If you are using the CM series of machines, you will need a blade depth of 3 or 4 for cutting out this dsp. After cutting out the bees and flowers from two different pieces of dsp, I shared three tea holder projects I created and showed how to do a diaper fold.
