Recipe:
Stamp the God is Love sentiment from the Hold on to Hope stamp set onto Powder Pink card stock using Berry Burst ink. Cut out the sentiment using the coordinating framlit from the Cross of Hope framelits set. Attach the sentiment to the bookmark using foam adhesives. Take apart a Silver Mini Gable Box and then run the crosses from the Cross of Hope framelits set through the Big Shot. Because the silver card stock is so thick, the framelit will not cut all of the way through, leaving an embossed look on each cross. Attach the crosses to the bookmarks using foam adhesives.
Stamp the flying pig from the This Little Piggy stamp set onto Whisper White card stock using Memento Black ink. The Little Piggy was cut out using the Brother Scan N’ Cut (see This Little Piggy Loves the Scan N’ Cut). Color the pig using Powder Pink ink and a sponge. Cut out an additional pig and then cut off the wings. Glitter the wings using Wink of Stella. Attach the wings to the pig using foam adhesives. Attach the pigs to the bookmark using foam adhesives.
To create the bookmark, cut a 6″ by 2″ piece of the Berry Burst card stock or Color Theory designer series paper and punch the top using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. Attach a 7″ to 8″ piece of Powder Pink ribbon to the tag by looping it through. Another variation of this project uses the Color Theory Card pack. The Hold on to Hope was punched out partially with the Everyday Label Punch.
